Azuki Announces Exciting Collaborations and New Releases
In a recent announcement, Azuki, a renowned company in the anime and manga industry, has revealed several exciting collaborations and new releases that are sure to delight fans worldwide. During their panel at Anime NYC 2024, sponsored by Yen Press and Ize Press, Azuki announced a partnership with Scholastic Graphix to launch colorized print editions of two popular manga series.
The first series, "Hikaru na Luz!" by Mai Matsuda, will be released in March 2025, with the final volume being sent out in April 2025. The second series, "Mecha-Ude: Braços Mecânicos" by Yoshino Koyoka, has already been launched in English by Azuki and is available for readers to enjoy.
Azuki also added several new manga titles to their lineup, including "Kotonoha" by Kisugae, "Ryoji Renjo: Detetive Gourmet" by Tadashi Kato, "Mais doce que bolo" by Yuga Kuromiya, and "Dreamnautas" by Yasuyuki Oshima.
Hikaru na Luz!
"Hikaru na Luz!" is a heartwarming manga series that follows the story of Hikaru Ogino, a young student who is known as the "pássaro canoro" of her family’s bathroom. When her best friend Ran, a former idol, invites her to join a survival camp, Hikaru must put her talents to the test and face her fears. Will she shine on stage or fail?
Mecha-Ude: Braços Mecânicos
"Mecha-Ude: Braços Mecânicos" is a thrilling manga series that takes place in Kita-Kagami City, a normal city with a secret: some people have Mecha-Ude, powerful, sentient, and mechanical beings that connect to their human hosts and possess incredible abilities. When Hikaru, a young boy, accidentally activates Alma, a Mecha-Ude with no memory of its past, they must work together to uncover the mystery of Alma’s identity and prevent it from falling into the wrong hands.
Anime Release
The anime adaptation of "Mecha-Ude" is set to premiere in October, with Crunchyroll broadcasting the series under the title "Braços Mecânicos" as soon as it becomes available.
