Wuthering Waves: A Guide to Phantom Echoes and Their Locations
In Wuthering Waves, you can collect cosmetic skins for your Echoes, known as Phantom Tacet Discords (TDs), or "Shiny" Echoes. This guide will show you how to use them, obtain them, and where to find them.
List of Phantom Echoes
There are 8 Phantom Echoes in total, 4 of which can be found in the open world and 4 in stores.
Open World
The following Phantom Echoes can be found in the open world:
- Altered Lightcrusher: Can be found North of Loong’s Rest in Mt. Firmament and North of Tianqu Tree in Mt. Firmament.
- Altered Clang Bang: Can be found on the platform below the highest point of Loong’s Crest.
- Phantom: Hoartoise: Can be found near the weekly turtle boss itself in Tolling Stream, and in the riverbank near Thorny Passage.
- Phantom: Rocksteady Guardian: Can be found near Tower of Adversity and Withering Frontline near the Thundering Mephis boss.
Store
The following Phantom Echoes can be obtained from stores:
- Phantom: Feilian Beringal: Can be obtained from Adversity Exchange for 120 Hazard Records.
- Phantom: Impermanence Heron: Can be obtained from Depths of Illusive Realm for 400 Illusive Specimens.
- Phantom: Mourning Aix: Can be obtained from Simulation Training Store for 300 Data Sets.
- Phantom: Thundering Mephis: Can be obtained from Simulation Training Store for 300 Data Sets.
How to Use Phantom Echoes
If an Echo has a Phantom skin available, you can apply it by pressing the small icon on the bottom right corner of the Echo’s portrait. On the next screen, you will see the Phantom Echo you can apply. They can be applied to multiple Echoes of the same type, or if you have the same one equipped on one character, they can be applied on any one.
How to Obtain Phantom Echoes
As of Version 1.1, you can collect 8 Phantom Echoes in total. The Phantom Echoes that spawn in the open world appear to be on fixed locations and reset after the server’s daily reset time. You can obtain the remaining Phantom Echoes from events and activities.
